The new version includes some of the “most wanted” improvements to the theme as requested by theme users.

  • Completely revamped the navigation tab code to work with the Exclude Pages plugin. This will make it much easier to control which pages are visible in the top navigation tabs. This was difficult originally because the tabs use the CSS sliding doors technique and require the span tag surrounding each link. Thanks to Jean-Baptiste Jung over at CatsWhoCode.com for coming up with a slick solution.
  • Added the ability to include comments on pages. I had originally excluded this function, but had some requests to include it in the next release. If you don’t want comments to show on your pages, simply uncheck the boxes for pings and comments on each page’s configuration within WordPress.
  • Lengthened the background images in the navigation tabs. Long page link titles were stretching the nav tabs to the point where the background image would gap between the right and left sides. The images are all now 250 pixels wide, so if you gap that, shorten your link text.

Changes made to 1.01 file

  • Added CSS code for left, right and centered post images so the text would wrap properly around the image. As long as the alignleft, alignright and aligncenter classes are applied to an image, they will be positioned properly and the text will wrap. If the image spans below the text, you may need to clear the float to allow content below the image to be positioned below the image.
  • Changed default Flexibility feature image to the one it was supposed to be to begin with. Somehow an earlier version with rounded corners got into the zip file and it looked a little odd with the square border around the top feature
