You need to create a static page for your Home page, and another page for your posts page. If you name the home page "Home" and turn off the Home link in the navigation, your new "Home" page will show up as the Home link and link to your front page. If you don't have a static home page, then it will display your posts on the home page using the index.php file.

Hey Ryan,

In the Wordpress Dashboard under SETTINGS>READING I want to set the "Front Page Display" to "static".

I would like the front page to be the home page and the post page to be blog. I can get the post to show up on the blog page I've created but I don't have Home as an option in the menu.

I've created another page called home and then turned off the link visibilty for the home page in the theme options but I don't like doing this as it messes up the optimization a bit.

Can you expalin why the default home page doesn't show up in the page menu under "Reader Settings"? Can you tell me how to make it show up so I can designate it to be the static front page for the site without having to do the workaround?

Much appreciated Ryan. Great theme by the way! Been using it for a couple years now and recommend it to many people.
