I know how to create one, but I can't find where to add it to this theme. Can someone help, please?

Sherrie,
I found the easiest way is to use a plugin and that way your favicon is still available no matter what theme you use. I use Favicon-Mgr from http://www.digitalramble.com/favicon-manager-wordpress-plugin/ on my sites and have had no problems.

Another good plugin is cbnet favicon plugin–and it works great. Simple, simple, simple..and you can use a full size pic–no creating if you don't want to
