Banner Ad Placement in Sidebar?

Seeing as this is a theme designed for marketing you would think it would have banner ad integration but it only offers adsense integration—which to be honest is kind of a dead/ugly platform for generating revenue.

I would like to know how I can do this without the use of installing a plugin. (Trying to keep the use of plugins to a minimum for faster page-loading)

Ideally I want to have a standard square 125px x 125px ad placement. Much like what you see on basically every WordPress theme blog, where the spacing is evenly spaced and aligned.

Any help would be appreciated. :-)

* Just as a side-note: I already know how to add a linkable image to a text widget, I want to know how to do it so the spacing is equal. Do you create a table? or add the spacing using CSS?

My next theme will have support for sidebar ad placement, but FlexSqueeze just has AdSense right now.

The easiest way to do it would probably be to just use a table unless you're comfortable with CSS.  You could do this:

<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5">
<tr>
<td align="center">image here</td>
<td align="center">image here</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center">image here</td>
<td align="center">image here</td>
</tr>
</table>

Hi Ryan,

I'd gladly pay a premium price for a wordpress theme if it was easily customizable, without the need for css coding or .php coding.

What's the difference between flexibility2 and flexsqueeze?

What I'd especially like to do is design and customize wordpress sites… such as header images, footer sections, sidebar functionality i.e add in optin forms + videos – easily and quickly

Plus video and PDF tutorials would be an additional bonus.

Cheers

Mark
