im trying to set up all my pages first and my blog tab, with all my posts, last.

by default the home page takes all the posts…  how can i change this so that i can post into the blog tab that i have set up???

Create and set a static home page and your blog page as posts page in the WP reading settings.

Now this was another problem that had me stymied, I had a bunch of pages on my site, but I wanted to add a 'blog'???
