I cannot change the header graphic – I don't know how
I took the Blog Title and Tag Line out from settings.
I uploaded and inserted the file like it says to do in the appearance options page.
The only thing I have not done is put the *.jpg in the title section – which I may still try to do
Any suggestion would be appreciated…I am flexible.

Did you upload your header image to the theme's images directory and put the image name and extension (ie: header.jpg) in the Header custom image option blank?

There is a built-in image uploader in the theme options under the upload tab. If that doesn't work (can be finicky), just FTP your images or upload them in your cpanel file manager.

Here is what I did. Probably not the best way.
I went to my blog theme folder and images folder then headers I replaced one of the images called (header-BlueSky.jpg) with a custom image of my own and named it the same name and uploaded that. Then chose that name for my header. Not a great alternative but it works.
Then I also went to the general settings in wordpress and deleted the blog title and description.
I don't know what that will do to wordpress or the search engines but it does work.
If someone has a better solution let me know.
