I've installed a custom header image.

In doing so, the header area doesn't have the hyperlink to the blog's url (I deleted blog title and tagline in General Settings to avoid overlap/bleedthrough into the custom header image).

Is there was way to have the hyperlink to the blog's url in a custom header (the same way it is for the header in http://www.flexibilitytheme.com/)?

The header image won't link, but a custom logo will. So if you use a custom logo along with a custom header image, the logo will link to your home page.
