I followed the instructions to edit the top box by changing the php file for the features section.
It worked great.
Later I did the same for the footer that did not work so well and I clicked restore to original.
The theme was smart enough to override the feature section and leave my current video and info for that section the same.
Now I need to edit the video in the top features box and when I go to the php for features it has the original php.
I decided to try to edit it again but apparently the theme is using the override from the original install.
Where do I access the php for the features file under these conditions?

I posted a reply to you, but it was deleted. I don't think we are supposed to help each other here, and/or make critical remarks about the lack of official support.
Be, nevertheless, well!
Jaap Verduijn.

Thank you, you are right, I need to stay positve.
I missed the reply. They ask us to post so others can learn.
I understand, we could easily give the wrong technical advise.
I guess I'll wait.

Laura – I emailed your solution at the beginning of the week, but the email came back due to an incorrect email address being submitted with the question.
You can either edit the feature.php file included with the theme or activate widgets in the feature area. Resetting the theme options does not change back any edits you've made to feature.php. That only resets the colors and other options. You would need to reinstall the theme to revert the feature.php back to original state, or copy/paste the content from the original file back in via the editor.
Jaap – your reply did nothing to solve the issue, and your constant complaining about lack of support is getting old so your posts will get deleted unless you have something constructive to contribute. Look at the number of posts under my name and tell me I don't support my theme users. You are using a free theme that I spent several hundred hours developing (have you made a donation to show your appreciation by chance?). And the fact that I give priority support to my paid users should go without saying.

Thank you Ryan,
I have re-edited the php in the features section and it does not change.
I also reposted the original php back into the features section but it did not change back.
When I use a widget it seems to put it only on the right column. Nothing goes in the left, evan when I use the same php that works in the features file.
I switched between 2 themes and reinstalled to try to start over but it left everything the same. I tried to re-edit php after the reinstall but still had no change. I am just trying to remove one video and put in another.
Thanks for your support. I do appreciate that you even take the time to help free subscribers.

Make sure you don't have any widgets activated in the Top Feature section, because that will override anything you insert into the feature.php file. It's basically the same as the sidebars, where as soon as you activate a widget, the default categories/archives, etc are replaced completely.
If you send me an email with your login details and the code you are trying to put into the feature area, I can jump on and get it done for you.

Public Appology.
Ryan, I stand corrected. There was a widget in the features box.
But when I discovered it an put in the php the opt in box is no longer next to the video. I had the opt in box on the right side all centered. not any more.
Thanks for your help.
