Do I have to have teh footer ad about the commission blueprint and super affiliate handbook on my theme? If not, how do I remove it?

No, you can either turn it off in the theme options or customize them with whatever you want in the footer.php file.

Figured it out. It's in the footer settings. You just set whetehr you want widgets and the number.
