Hi all I am having problems adding categories to both flexsqueeze and Flexability 2.

I want to add lots of content to my sites but do not want to post more then 10 posts per category.

So I want to create new categories to insure that the content does not begin to get buried.

I have tried adding new categories, editing my theme options, writing options etc. and still can't figure it out.

I know that I know how to do this but can't seem to figure it out. this site here is what I want it to look like:

http://www.netmarketingcourse.net

You see in the categories section where each title has about 10 pages of content….that's what I want to know how to do.

can someone please post step by step how to do that with both themes thanks

Since you're talking about doing this in the sidebar… have you placed an empty text module in the TOP sidebar widget?

I say this because the top sidebar widget controls everything below it. Are you still seeing the default "archives" "catergories" modules? It;s becasue you haven't "disabled" the top sidebar widget. Do that by adding an empty text module to it.

Sidebars in Flex2 are wonky, you gotta know their indiosyncacies.

yeah I have placed an empty text widget in the top side bare module. Some of my sites still have the "archives" and "catergories" showing on the theme and that's how I want it to look like the above mentioned site with exeption to the "archives" module. But when I try to add addional catergories inside my theme in the WP admin area it does not show up under the "catergories" section of my them. So when I have no way of adding content and insureing that the content does not get bunched up. Does anyone know how I can fix this or contact Ryan or support?

Sorry, I'll try to help if I can… but I don't understand the part I bolded, above… Each category has about 10 pages of content…

I'm missing something. How do we see that? When I hover over a category, I do not see a menu or anything. And when I navigate to the category page, there's only one post there. Can I see your page? You can PM me is necessary.

What I know about Flex2 and the sidebars is that if you do not do anything with the top module, the categories and archives sections (as written from the sidebar.php page, NOT the widgets section) will apppear.

That's why it is suggested to include an empty text module to the top sidebar widget module. For some reason, this will eliminate the categories and archives section.

Understand that you can still have them there, if you want them, by using the widget modules instead of the coding that sidebar.php gives.

However, in some freaky cases, adding the text module to the top sidebar widget does not help. In those cases, I recommend cutting the coding that delivers categories from the sidebar.php page.

I say all this, not knowing whether this is even in the realm of what you are asking, because I am just not sure what it is you want, sorry.
