I uploaded a blog 'Header custom image'.   The text from the blog's name displays over it. How can I remove the text or keep it from displaying?

Thank you in advance.

The theme is designed to use both a custom header background image and a custom logo image. You can either break out your logo separately from the header background, or you can simply create a transparent gif image and use that as your logo. As long as an image is entered into the custom logo blank, the text title and tagline will be removed. You could actually create a transparent gif that's say 80px by 300px and use that as your logo, then the logo in your header background will still be clickable back to your homepage.

My programmer added the following to the editor–see the -9999 so it still shows in the google searches; but doesn't show on the header. Works for me.

after the following statement…just beforethe a href= he puts the-9999 text index

<?php if ($flex_blog_logo == "") { ?>

    <h3 style="text-indent:-9999px;"><a href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>/">

AND

 </a></h3> (AFTER THIS)

    <p class="tagline" style="text-indent:-9999px;">
