Hi, I am wanting to create a solid colour right sidebar, extending from the header down to the footer.  How would I do this? Do I need to save a background to repeat or is there an easier way?

Also I am wanting to have some pictures between the header and the page title on certain pages, without affecting the sidebar.  Is this possible?  I tried making my own theme to do this but on the pages with the graphics, the sidebar widgets dropped down the same distance.
