*sigh* I've been fooling with this thing for HOURS and I'm so frustrated. Everything works for me except the top options…Theme Color Changer, Lightness Changer.
I've opened up permissions on EVERYTHING and when I change the darkness to light and preview my blog, there's a quick flash in the background of the lightness but then it sticks on darkness (not just the words in the options area that read "Dark" but the only lightens for few seconds and then reverts to the dark color). The color changer doesn't work for me at all…I choose, select then save as the instructions say but it reverts back to the default.
So far I can edit everything else just fine. This is a fresh install of WP, there's NOTHING on it, I installed it and immediately DLed Flexibility and started tinkering with it. Even did a reinstall of the theme just in case.
Love it but I don't want it to be dark and I would love to use the Color Changer. Any ideas?
blog I'm working on is at http://www.insidenjrealestate.com
Thanks =)

I read your post and saw no one had responded. I just experimented about 10 minutes and figured it out. Basically it seems there are a couple of things you need to take note of. Click where it says click to open the color pad. Now in the center, if you look very closely, you will see a vertical slider. Sliding it up and down changes the colors you see on the left.
Now look very closely on the left and you will see a small circle. Click the mouse on the circle and hold your click. Drag the circle until you get to the colors you want and release the mouse click. Just for drill, click it again and release. Now look down in the lower right and you will see a smallbutton made of several colors. It is the Apply button mentioned in the directions. Click it, then click Save Theme Colors and everything should be as you want them.

After you change the color, click the 'palette' button on the color picker to transfer the color value to the text field. Then click the save link. The color, darkness and layout changer will all default back to red, dark, and 960, but you need to go refresh your site and see the changes.

Hi, i am having the same problem with the lightness option too. I can change the colour….but if you click on lightness, it just reverts back to dark. No change, so i just left it alone. Or do you just use lighter colours????

The lightness option and the layout width option will not "stick", as they are not saved in the database. When you change them, specific theme settings are changed and you can go refresh your blog to see them.
