Hi, I reallly want to upgrade to FlexSqueeze but thought I'd try out Flex2 first to be sure I like it. Well, I do–very user friendly! Only problem is that a few features won't work for me: Both the Theme Color Changer and the Theme Lightness Selector won't save the changes. I go in, make my select, hit the Save link and it refreshes the page and shows it back to the default option. I have to be sure all these great features work before I shell out cash for the upgrade :-)…can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I've tried it in Firefox and IE, same problems. WordPress 2.7, of course!

Are you clicking the little palette icon in the lower right corner of the color picker? You need to click that in order to apply the color to the text field. The color box will change with the picker, but unless the value isn't transferred to the text box, it won't save the value.

Yes, I pick it, the number shows up there in the text box, then I click on the little round color ball in the lower right corner, then click my mouse on the page, and back it goes. Plus, it does the same thing with the theme lightness selector: It will not switch to light. I click it to light, but when I click on the save link, it looks like it is saving it and refreshing the page, but it comes up again set to dark. Very strange as everything else is working great…..

Ohh… When you click the save changes button, go preview your blog. The actual values in the "Quick Change" tab won't keep the values you select. It just changes other values in the theme settings, then reverts back to the defaults. So if you choose "Light", it will always switch back to "Dark" because that's the default. But your actual blog should be changing. If you click say blue in the color changer and then save, if you click into the Header tab, you should see the blue color as the first color on the page as your new header color, and other places throughout the theme settings.

I already had gone and looked, just did so again, no change. It works great on the options underneath (background color, etc.,) but not those two features, above. If you want to go take a look, I'm happy to give you my login info (just not here on the forum, of course!). It's a brand new blog, so there's nothing anyone can mess up or even see :).

I just wanted to let anyone know who might read this topic in the future that Ryan logged into my WordPress site and had no problems with it at all. Then I logged back in and it is working perfectly for me as well, so I have no idea what was wrong to begin with, but it works just great now.
I told Ryan I am upgrading to FlexSqueeze this afternoon because I so rarely see someone who totally stands behind their product. Excellent!!
