I'm thinking of switching my current blog to the flex them, what do I need to worry about as far as losing any pluging or any pages or posts or anything? Is any of this even an issue, I'm kinda a newbie:

You won't lose any pages or posts as WP separates content from the presentation (theme). The theme is compatible with most plugins, so I wouldn't think you'd have much issue there either.
