I just installed the theme and I am customizing it. The side bars will not change. I have made changes to them and saved. They just don't work. Is this normal? I won't be able to use this theme if I can not make any changes. Is this a common problem with this theme? Anyone have any answers?

Well, you're not exaclty giving us any clues as to what you want them to do. Saying you changed them doesn't help us understand what you want if you don't tell us what you did. Be a little more specific and I'll try to help.
