Hi Ryan

Hopefully this will be my last support question for you.

I'm finishing up the 'setup' of my test site for Flexibility 2 theme.  I've run into a widget issue.

Basically they are disappearing after placing them in a 'location'.

I can drag a widget into the location I want (right or left sidebar, etc), I can customize the content of the widget (for example, adding a banner or text message to text widget), I can save and view the changes on the site.  BUT, when I go back into the widget interface, the actual widgets are MISSING from the sidebars' location where I placed them.

That makes it impossible to 'slide' a widget out to remove it, or reopen a widget to edit it's contents.

I tried making writable – the sidebar file, the css file and css php file -  None of which worked and some of which crashed the css file entirely.

Can you point me to a fix for this?  If you still have the login/access info I sent you for the blog, please take a peek if needed.

Cheers,

Deborah

Well, somehow the disappearing widgets seems to have fixed itself.

But now I have another problem…  The theme 'color changer' is not working.  It doesn't stick.

This 'test' blog is actually a blog belonging to one of my clients.  The plan is to install the Flex Squeeze theme to it, once I am assured Flexibility2 works perfectly.  She JUST purchased her single site license Flex Squeeze theme and additional skin today (Sunday 6/19) via my referral.

I don't want to install and set up Flex Squeeze for her till I know the theme color change function works in Flexibility2.

What could be the issue with this?

I have no problems with the Theme Color Changer in Flexibility 2 on 2.7 or 2.8.  You may check your server's error log to see if there's any errors being shown. It may be a permissions issue on a folder or file that needs adjusted for the theme to work.  Usually, it's the style.php file not having adequate permissions for the theme to rewrite the file.
