I have installed Flexibility – it shows up with default settings.  Now I'm trying to change color, layout, etc… and nothing saves.  I'm hitting the save link underneath each option, but it always reverts to the orignial.  What am I not doing?

I, too, am having this problem.  I'm also getting the following error message during the save process:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: http://extra-assist.com/wp-adm…..ef1019b:19

In the error message box there are two buttons; one for stopping the script processing and one for continuing the script processing.  I've tried both buttons with the same result, nothing is saved.

Please HELP!Cry

@marshallgilliam – Have you check your server error log to see if you need to change any file permissions?  That's usually the culprit when the theme won't save changes.

@dcaissie – that's not a theme issue.  The link you gave pulled up some jquery link loader.  Don't know what that is.

I too am having the problem of the theme not saving certain changes to the layout. I have tried to change color on the header -nothing doing! I have tried to change layout – It says that the changes have been saved but on viewing the site – nothing has changed!
Can you help?

Have you checked your error log to see if any permission errors are popping up?

Hey Ryan,

I've got the same problem…

Installed Flex2 on WP 2.9, only Some changes are saved, but the "Theme Lightness Selector"

definitely doesn't save the changes from default "Dark" to "Light", it's stuck on Dark, and defaults back, whenever "saved".

I tried searching the whole forum for a solution, so as not to bother you,

however, you're my last resort!

I've checked & double checked file permissions on style.css & style.php along with monitoring

the error logs, but nothing's comin up mate…

any further suggestions?

The only plugin Im running is Askismet and that's it.

also, while I've gotchya, I think there was mention of a developers licence for Flex2?

Even though Im not a developer, I'd like to make a few changes to the default template for every install I do to save time etc…

Is that possible?

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated buddy,

fantastic theme dude, You're the man!

The Quick Change settings done save by design. But after saving them, go refresh your blog and the changes should be visible.

Flexibility 2 is a free theme, and you can make whatever changes you want to the code to suit your needs.
